These say 4 piece and the new, inferior golf balls are 3 piece. This leads me to believe these are the old golf balls everyone knows and loves.

I think the concern is folks buying a ton of them and then reselling them so that most other folks can't buy them for regular price.
That kind of thing pisses folks off.

They are equivalent of a ball that costs 45 bucks a dozen when you get two dozen here for 37.5 after shipping.
