Fantastic Contraption - General bugginess. Anyone else buy this one?

One of the biggest problems I have is that after playing for 5-10 minutes, the game gets stuttery/jittery. I've tested a launch PS4 and a PS4 Pro, each with their own setups/headsets. It happens on both, but it seems like the Pro lasts longer before problems creep up.

In the level select menu, it's like the framerate is cut in half. Suddenly the screen is jittery and there's noticeable ghosting while moving my head around. Leaving that menu and returning to the game often leaves the game world itself just as jittery while moving my head around. It makes it very uncomfortable to keep playing.

The game also has a big problem with world wobble and it can freeze up when I've been building on a single level for a little while. I can go to grab a new building piece and the whole game gets stuck. It seems like a cool game, but it just won't let me play it.

Not had any of these issues but haven't played since the last patch. Did you play it before then and have the same issue?

Nope, I just got it with the recent sale and starting playing it around Friday or so :(

Could be the update. I'll give mine a try when I get a chance and let you know if I have the same problems

The weird framerate hitching or jittery problem seems like it might be worse on some levels than on others for me. I wonder if some levels just perform worse and I was on the same couple of levels when it was happening the worst.

It's just so distracting when moving my head around causes the weird ghosting and double-vision. It's just odd that it happened on a Pro and a normal PS4 in completely different rooms with different headsets and for some reason so far I'm still the only one seeing it.

It's been pretty much spot on for me. But then pretty much every game has since I sorted out my play space, blocked reflections and natural light, and set up two orange floodlights. No more World wobble, great tracking. Only issue with this game is that if you play on small scale (zoomed out), it can get a bit fiddly and sometimes it's hard to select the right part of your contraption... But over all I think I still prefer this small scale. Large scale is fun and looks good but it's even harder to really build what you want and get an idea of what you're trying to do.

Fun game though.
