I'm on aripiprazole 5mg, no positive symptoms but I really want to go to sleep. Like, I can't work the feeling is so strong. Is this a negative symptom, a side effect of the medication, or something else? Everything else if fine, it's just this stupid sleepiness, help?

Are you sleeping okay at night? It can have a sedative effect for some people and an activating effect for other people. How long have you been on it? It may diminish over time, otherwise it's worth speaking to your doc about if it's affecting your work.
I'm on 2.5mg I took my meds at night at first and I kept waking up in the middle of the night after 2 hours of sleep. I switched to taking it in the morning and now I'm wide awake during the day

me too literally exact same thing, weird thing is abilify didn't make me sleepy when I took it several years ago. I'm going to try taking it at night instead.
Have you switched up whether you take it at night or in the morning?
