I just broke things off with a guy I've had four dates with. :( he was clingy, controlling, and disregarded what I wanted in regards to touching and kisses. Like when I didn't want to I'd pull away and turn my head so then he'd kiss my cheek or forehead. Slap his hand away only to have it return moments later. Ugh. Or when he kept saying he'd do anything to make me happy. It had only been like 2 dates! Despite that, I liked him but I'm not putting up with that.

The kissing the cheek just sounds like someone trying and failing to make a failed kiss less awkward, but the rest sounds ridiculous. Good on you for calling it off!

I've been shamelessly angling on Tinder for the past week or two to try and get a date for birthday drinks tonight. It seems I haven't been angling enough/shameless enough.
I was talking to a guy yesterday who seemed really down to earth but he's busy with family stuff today. Q_Q At this point it's super rainy and I didn't sleep well last night so I'll probably give up and do nerdy things at home instead. Hopefully with a bottle of wine if I can be arsed to trek outside again. :p

This guy I've been seeing is, bizarrely enough, in my small hometown halfway across the country this weekend. I'm both deeply uncomfortable and super jealous that he's there.

I do have a date tonight. We are riding the Hallowe'en train through Stanley Park. But it's the PNW, so there's a good chance it'll be raining.

She'll be busy the next two weeks, but has said we should meet up again. I decided things may work out better for me in the end if I take them slow and not try to rush into a relationship.

I am home in NY. I thought about trying to set up a drink date with someone and did some swiping but now I've eaten too much pizza and I feel like a fat unattractive slob and I have the sodium sweats.
