The whole JP/tranny thing

Those on the side of trannies know they are on the side of using violence to protect their ideology right?

I mean on the other side, is people who simply wish to stick to science, that a man is a man regardless of how he is disfigured. They do not wish to harm trannies, but at the same time, do not wish to delve in to their delusion either.

The tranny side of the argument however, has escalated to the point where if you don't validate the delusion of the mentally ill, that you deserve sanctions, and refusing those, physical violence until such time as you acquiesce. In short "think how we think or else".

How can someone be on that side and think that's a good idea?

I'm waiting for the days they start throwing punches in an organized manner. Then melee battle shall be joined.

The thing is they've already done it. By making a law they have already thrown the first punch. It's just a matter of time before it lands.

I am so sick of trannies. If you want to wear a dress and paint your nails, go ahead -- just don't force me to call you a woman.

And thats exactly it.

The squeaky wheel gets the grease.

Of the number of letters Peterson has received from transgender individuals about the infamous confrontation, most have apparently been "these people don't represent me, I just wanna live my life", etc.

One letter, I believe, was neutrally worded and only one was strongly negative.

Don't let them gaslight you into thinking they have support.

That's what's wrong here, and that's what we can all sense - we come from a culture that strongly values truth, and this stinks to high heavens as the opposite of that: nobody wants it, but everyone feels strongly pressured to conform to it because of projected peer pressure.

I think it's more complicated than that.

More than a number of times I've seen them dismiss JP's position in saying that he was full of hot air when he said c16 and the ohrc on the matter would lead to violence while ignoring the fact that them using the threat of violence to drive submission early is violence in itself.

Implying that progressives are against the state using violence to quell wrongthink

3
imatrapperOPmeta-right•

Well to be fair, I wasn't trying to imply that, but rather to express that they are doing it in the context of what is going on.

if they're self-aware enough to realize what they're doing in context, they'd still be okay with it. The progressive left has continuously proven that they're okay with state-sanctioned violence, censorship, intimidation, ostracization, etc to silence dissent.
