ill see myself out
Looks like Europe alright.
In any case, I can't really see Elazer not winning this group.
I expect Stephano and Namshar to take the next to spots. Would be cool to see those other guys make some steps though.
Elazer beat it without losing a map.
Called it.
Elazer just had an orgasm
*zergasm
Europe's gonna Europe
Anybody else actually really like ZvZ? Just me?
I just reached diamond with Terran, so I decided to celebrate by playing random. There is something really exciting about ZvZ. I think it's that moment when you see your opponent screw up and you can cut drones and punish him. I don't really get that feeling in any other matchup.
Grats. Yeah, ZvZ is high-octane. I absolutely love the tug-of-war, macro your ass off aspect of ZvZ. When you win, you feel like you're a macro king. Then when you get bitch slapped by the next zerg you remember how much of a scrub you are.
I get destroyed because I suck at injecting. One of those great zergs, I think a Korean, said 'if your queen energy ever gets over 25 you should just quit'. It really stuck with me, and every time I go to inject and see that I have 55+ energy and I feel like I'm the worse. That's what you get for trying a new race.
Well, if it's any consolation, I'm complete shit at both Terran and Toss.
I believe the zerg was the legend, Lim Jae Duk, aka, NesTea. Love NesTea
Hey, you're right!
ZvZ is nice to play. But to watch... :/
At least it'll be over in an hour
Poor Stephano.
Right? That dude's ZvZ used to be fucking solid in WoL... Not the case anymore.
It has always been his worst match-up, from what he said
Yeah but it used to be over 60% even at its worst.
MY DREAM
They're going to be nervous wrecks after playing that many ZvZ's in a row.
Is this SEA server circa 2012?
Looks like a typical Australian Tournament
The recent Australian qualifying finals for Montreal was PvT.
Wow!
Seems pretty fine to me <-sarcasm
Just like the asl. Is zvz as fast in sc2 as broodwar? Haven't played sc2 in awhile.
Stephano & Zerghamdi will advance
What the actual... ZvZfest?
When is WESG by the way? I keep looking for info but keep finding info about the last event
Tomorrow IIRC

group Z
Unpopular opinion but ZvZ is actually the best mirror to watch right now in LOTV, and it's not even close. PvP is turtle to carriers/skytoss, and PvT is just a stupid matchup for both sides where it doesn't feel balanced at all. ZvZ on the other hand has retained that early game knife-fight feel, but you often see games go late too, roach VS roach isn't boring anymore thanks to ravagers, all tech paths are viable, and LOTV has opened up some really cool gameplay options that lead to amazing macro games. In fact, a lot of my favorite games of 2017 have been ZvZ's...
PvP is turtle to carriers/skytoss
What game are you playing? All the games I watch of PvP it's oracle or DT coin flip someone instaloses. Watched the Omina league (however you spell it) the finals was PvP.... BO3 lasted lasted about 12 minutes of game time.
Sure, you can't be decent as terran and protoss if you don't train 16 hours a day.
It's like 2h for zergs.
And 20 minutes for Protoss.
It's going to be very difficult, but I expect a Zerg player to come out on top.
NO, IT WILL BE A PROTOSS. PROTOSS IMB.......wait
In that group, a protoss will not lose a single game, whereas zerg will have 50% winrate and terran will not win a single game. Toss imba
That exactly was my point bub
You werent that clever
