I have a cake question!
First of all please accept my apologies in advance for a potentially obvious and stupid question.
Is there a particular name given to cakes that look like this?

My assumption is that they are simple sponge cakes baked in a muffin tin and turned upside-down before icing. But my cake knowledge is lacking and I'm worried there is something more complex going on.
Anyone care to enlighten me please?

They look like mini Bundt cakes to me! Google "Nothing Bundt Cakes" and take a look at the bundtlets they make
