WIP Fireblade based on the hover-drone Ethereal

I did a similar conversion, but removed the collar, used a grizzled, unhelmeted head. Also he's holding his rifle raised, and his helmet under his other arm. I agree, it's tough to get it to feel appropriately charactery (especially when my last army was chaos), but I'd say when in doubt, put it on a bigger base ;)

Inspired by another post, either here or somewhere else, can't find it. Cut down a normal Strike head to fit inside the collar, the hand gripping the knife started had a pulse carbine removed. The leg armour is also from the normal FW kit. Ethereal-caste symbol on the chest rounded.

I'm not really sure about the pose: i like it as such, but it doesn't really scream CHARACTER. Also considering options for the head: I'd prefer to keep it helmeted, but it looks a bit strange from behind. Unfortunately I'd need to cut down the collar to fit a proper Strike head, so there would be no going back.

I went with the same left arm, but added the markerlight bit from the FW sprue. I put the blade on his side where you have yours, and used the pointing right hand. I also used the "shouty" head from the FW sprue with antenna and cut the collar down about to where the line is.
