How to reinstall BIOS firmware after changing to x220 custom keyboard one
Hey,
I have the x230 and followed the thinkwiki tutorial for the x220 keyboard replacement and it worked.
I wanted to switch back to my normal keyboard, but after running hte BIOS update utility it says that i don't need to update because i have the latest one.
How do i re-install the firmware?

I guess you used the thinkpad-ec software to create the modified EC firmware for the mod. To revert the changes, please see docs/CONFIG.txt for instructions on how to disable the keyboard patch and just repeat the whole process as you did the first time around.
Using the config options you can for example prepare EC firmware that has the battery validation patch but not keyboard mod, which may be useful to you.
