So, i bought a HID conversion kit that works when the battery is on but as soon as the car turns on they don't work. I've been told that it has something to do with the control box for the lights or something. I'm wondering if anyone has found a work around?

At the moment i'm just using them for my high beam which is still brighter than my old halogen ones.

If you are going to post a YouTube video for the love of god can you download the video and upload it to a site like streamable. It only takes 5 minutes of your time and you won’t get angry people like me wanting their daily dose of KOs

Thanks, Disgruntled visitor

I bought this trackpad and i've installed it.

From starting it up, the trackpad is not recognised at all which leads me to believe that the cable isn't in properly? The trackpad i purchased on ebay didn't come with a cable so i used the one from the t440p and not sure if that is the reason it is not working.

I've installed the drivers (T450s ultranav drivers) and restarted PC to no avail. Is there anything else i'm doing wrong before i have to take apart the whole computer again to fix this.

Just wanted to say thank you to the moderators of Hoggit and the person who made the banner for doing it in Gos' memory!

Hey,

I have the x230 and followed the thinkwiki tutorial for the x220 keyboard replacement and it worked.

I wanted to switch back to my normal keyboard, but after running hte BIOS update utility it says that i don't need to update because i have the latest one.

How do i re-install the firmware?
