This game doesn't really have "combo" characters like Street Fighter or whatever. Everyone has simple combos and everyone has advanced and flashy combos.

If you're looking for someone with more strings than someone with simpler pokes, go for bob, nina, josie, steve, hwo, geese, akuma, eliza (Keep in mind the higher you go the shorter you'll cut your strings). If you're talking about straight up combos where the opponent literally cannot do anything for the duration and you want someone who does the most damage, go for geese, akuma, eliza, hwo, raven, bob, kazuya, paul, chloe.

Okay, everybody is a combo character, but some rely more on longer combos and others rely more on pokes. In other words, some characters will hit you 8 times to win a round and others will hit you just 5.

Akuma is more combo-based than other characters in the game if you talk about art of keeping opponent in the air for 10 seconds or so.

Lars and Akuma. Everyone else'S looks weird and look like they shouldn't go together.
