Insane how accurate these simulations have been...they nailed the final score of the seahawks SB, and the outcome and score of the Falcons game too...yikes.

My brother-in-Law and I ran a Madden 18 simulation of the AFCCG on the Saturday before. It started of with a Pats FG, followed by a Jag TD. With 4 mins left to play the Jags were up 20-16. We scored a TD to go up by 3 and then blocked a last min FG to win it 23-20.
Surprisingly close scores and gameplay to exactly what happened.

Madden doesn't even get a networks #1 play by play or analyst to do their game commentaries now?

they did this on purpose so they could update the commentary throughout the season... a lot more expensive and harder to do with #1 play-by-play guys

also it would be hard to keep the
"oooo, eeee, ehhhhhhhhhh"
commentary for just one game so it'd happen every time there was a normal catch.

When I got Madden to simulate the game, the Eagles went up 7-0 in the first, and then the Patriots struck back to tie it. 7-7 after one. In the second quarter, the Patriots went ahead by a field goal, and then the Eagles tied it with a field goal. 10-10 at the half.
In the third quarter, the Eagles got a quick TD and went up 17-10. That lead lasted all of about three minutes, and the third quarter ended 17-17.
The fourth quarter is where things got nutty. First, they traded field goals. Then they traded TDs. With two minutes left, it was 30-30. The Patriots drove to the Eagles 20 yard line, and then three straight runs pushed them back to the 35 with 80 seconds left. Gostkowski missed the field goal, and the Eagles drove down to the Patriots goal line, where the Patriots got a turnover off an Ajayi fumble.
30-30 after four.
The Patriots won the coin toss in OT, and four plays later Amendola caught a 37 yard pass for the game winning TD. Patriots win, 36-30.

I want a big early lead and then coast to an easy victory. However after last years Superbowl even that might still be more tension than a man with my blood pressure should be exposed to :)

I'm still not willing to admit he wasn't down. If that was a catch and he goes to the ground like that he's ruled down, I guarantee you. Bull shit that the ball wasn't pinned and controlled.

he was down, he had it pinned to his leg, if that's not down the helmet catch is not a catch.
