I like this. It's not very deep but reads very well like a random train of thought we all get every day; casual honesty mixed with the right vocabulary makes for good poetry.

I did not enjoy the line breaks. I understand, as another user pointed out, that it represents spontaneity but I think even when writing with a "stream of consciousness" style there should be a consistent rhythm and flow.  

I really love it! I think it sums up the feeling of making a change really well. 

Impressed by your inner monologue, you break line in a way that paces very well.  

The line spacing gives a feeling of spontaneity, something I would often associate with getting ice cream myself!  Especially with the flavour change at the end.
