The New Horror Club, now deemed Beer and Fear!

Hi Everyone! I'm the newest addition to the mod team over here and I'm very excited to bring some awesome movie nights to you all.

You may have seen my previous posts over at r/horror about starting a movie club and it has definitely taken off.

This weekend was our first unofficial meet up where we watched 3 movies on Saturday by using our rabb.itt group Beer and Fear. We had a great turnout and the enthusiasm has been outstanding.

So let me go over how Beer and Fear works:

Each week a new curator is chosen to host the movie--this will be chosen at random or by group vote if your choice has an overwhelming interest.

The curator tells the group in each week's discussion thread about which movie they've chosen, why they want us to see it/ and what you love about it, and then tell us which beer would pair up with the movie.

note: You don't have to watch the movie live if you cannot, but we'd love to have you. Just watch on your own time and join the discussion thread at your own convenience.

It's that simple!
