Cheap as fuck tickets

0
LifeOfBrianl•

Maybe... I'm guessing the cheaper ones are the nosebleeds and the $135 are for GA and lower bowl

I really hope they come back to Philly

10
IPainTrainOP•

Based on the rumored lists I’ve seen, State College and Pittsburgh are the two PA cities they’re gonna play.

5
_aidanb•

Yeah that’s what I’ve seen too but I’m hoping they come back to Philly since State College is a 3 hour drive and Pittsburgh is a little under 5 hours

TheKappaOverlord•

The only thing im concerned about is this going to be a real arena tour or is this just going to be Stadium tour 2.0

Thats my only real concern. We have rumored cities but we don't have an idea of any venues.

I guess our fears will be confirmed or dashed tommorow when they make the announcement. (I think the Offical list will release a week or so after)

It’s an arena tour.

It doesn't seem to make any sense to do two in western PA and not hit the Wachovia Center over one of those. Let's keep our hope up.

sonderweg74•

The rumored list largely avoids cities they covered on the stadium tour. Hence, nothing in Philly. Nor DC (Baltimore was close enough). Nor NYC.

1
sonderweg74•

Considering that some of the rumored cities don't even have concert venue stadiums...why would you think this was a stadium tour?

1
kevonicus•

Any other US cities on that list?

https://www.reddit.com/r/Metallica/comments/801cfb/these_are_the_rumored_cities_for_the_north/?st=JE34NQYH&sh=e08e1287

You can find the list there. It is not a complete list though. It’s just places that have shared Metallica’s teaser.

kevonicus•

I was hoping for Nashville, I figured they would come here.

globalwarmingtho•

Australia tho? (please).

Denver show was great

Winnipeg, Manitoba - Oct 12. Only took em 9 years to come back

4
weightless_•

Where’d you see that?

1
Winddick•

My friend is designing the sound layout for Metallica's speaker set up at the MTS center and he gave me a heads up

Edit: The entire subreddit can bring the pitch fork batallion out if I'm wrong

Fuck I'm wrong lol

2
AjaxSlax•

Here come the pitchforks, cause you're wrong.

Waiting 14 years here in Pittsburgh

1

Bridgestone Arena in Nashville shared this video. It’s on!

IAmTheFatman666•

Indy is at Banker's Life, aka where the Pacers play. I'm beyond ready.

3
Iloldalot•

Anyone have an idea on when tickets go on sale?

2
jeeg•

March 2nd, that means Legacy members will be able to buy tickets as soon as Tuesday.

1
doctorthrash•

Not to be "that guy" but my wife knows some people here in Louisville who say the opening night will be at the Yum Center.

2
bulletv1•

Well to be that guy I’m guessing it’s common knowledge that they’re playing the yum center as they posted it earlier today.

1
doctorthrash•

Right, that’s not any info. Opening night is what she was told.

0
bulletv1•

Whoever told her wasn’t even close to being right.

1
noahslol•

Anything about them coming back to chicago or milwaukee? Probably gonna be in school for the announcement.

2
ObeyYourMaster86•

As if we didn't already know lol

1
IPainTrainOP•

Well this was a little more confirmation that it has to deal with the tour.

2
EZE123•

I wasn't able to see them on the pass through Florida last year. Will definitely try to make a better effort this time, even if it means traveling out of state.

1
buffalobill41•

Hearing Grand Forks, ND rumors. Please, please, please.

1
QuietThings24•

Yeah man crazy that they would play Alerus over Fargodome. Looking forward to it. Sioux yeah yeah

0
buffalobill41•

Yeah, I live in Fargo so that would have been nice, but I can't complain about Metallica coming within an hour or so.

2
SleestakLightning•

State College show is on a Saturday

1
Metallinaut•

A buddy of mine who's in good with stone sour said they're coming to Nashville Tennessee

-2
Doobers•

Is it still an album tour? They were great in denver but I'd like to have less stuff from the new album.

Edit: Why downvote?

Edit 2: downvote more angry bois

HEYitzED•

I’m going when they come to Cleveland. Please god play Creeping Death this time. Would’ve rather had that than Fuel.

7
barvid•

I mean, the video has three words and two of them are Worldwired Tour. They won’t be done promoting this album for a long time yet.

5
IPainTrainOP•

Probably. The whole tour has been the Worldwired Tour, so I’d imagine it’ll be a lot of new album stuff. They still haven’t played a few songs live yet, so here’s hoping we get that here.

1
_aidanb•

There will probably be some more variation in the setlists since this is would be the second round in the US but I wouldn’t get my hopes up for too many rare songs
