I bought this for my girlfriend for Valentine’s Day. She’s only read the first chapter so far but she’s enjoying it.
Good to hear!
My understanding is Peggy married young and died in childbirth, which is why she does not appear in act two. This book may clear that up.
Peggy married at 24, which was older than her sisters. She died in 1801, a few months before Philip, but not from childbirth.
Copy that. Thanks for clarification.
I have this book. I got it about a week ago at a local bookstore.
I hope it's good!
Lol neat. My son and I were having a laugh about how Washington never gives Hamilton the command and when Lee shits the bed he's like "Hamilton!" Gets his hopes up "have Lafayette take the lead!" Lol over looked again and we joked how its like "Hamilton, have anyone but you take the lead" then my son goes "Hamilton. Have Peggy take the lead" Lol we died laughing 😂
