Looking for Some Help Putting Together a Independent Study

Hello, I'm doing an 4000 level independent study over the summer, and I am leaning towards focusing on Pragmatism and Democracy, or a sort of History and Philosophy of Science II.

The idea for the first would be to cover a wide range of pragmatist political philosophy, up to and including neo-pragmatists.

The idea for the second is to build off of my current History and Philosophy of Science class, in which we are reading The Copernican Revolution by Thomas Kuhn, Representing and Intervening by Ian Hacking, Inventing Temperature by Hasok Chang, Science in a Free Society by Paul Feyerabend, and Science, Policy, and the Value-Free Ideal by Heather E. Douglas. I should add that I'm planning on taking another History and Philosophy of Science class in the fall that will be focused on women in science.

Anyway, what I'm looking for is some suggestions on readings for these topics. I have a few ideas, and, of course, my professor will have a lot of input, as these are areas of study for him, but I thought it would be useful to ask here as well.
