This plant showed up this year, pretty fast growing. The new growth stem is a little fuzzy, and the leaves have between 9-15 leaflets. The leaves are serrate.
Hello, I'm doing an 4000 level independent study over the summer, and I am leaning towards focusing on Pragmatism and Democracy, or a sort of History and Philosophy of Science II.
The idea for the first would be to cover a wide range of pragmatist political philosophy, up to and including neo-pragmatists.
The idea for the second is to build off of my current History and Philosophy of Science class, in which we are reading The Copernican Revolution by Thomas Kuhn, Representing and Intervening by Ian Hacking, Inventing Temperature by Hasok Chang, Science in a Free Society by Paul Feyerabend, and Science, Policy, and the Value-Free Ideal by Heather E. Douglas. I should add that I'
I remember this song, I downloaded it from some website in the 2000s that let musicians put up music, and some of it could be downloaded for free. I don't remember the website, there were so many flash in the pan music sites in those days.
Anyway, the song was kind of indie, kind of alt-countryish. There was a line that went something like, "How can I be lonely around so many people", there was talk of the bright lights of the city, and I think there was something in the song about his mom, like he was trying to tell her he was doing alright or something. The music was pretty slow, and seemed to make some big jumps on the scale, like high-low-high.
I'm going to say that, more than likely,
I am just finishing up an introductory level logic class, and am looking for what exactly I should study next. I had only planned on doing the introduction, but recently switched my major to philosophy, and feel I need to learn more. I have checked out a book on critical thinking which I am enjoying, but want to know the next step in formal logic.
My introductory class covered truth tables, propositional logic, and predicate logic. I am in contact with my professor on some recommendations, but wanted to ask here as well.
Thanks in advance!
So, ballots can be found here:
Today is the last day to register to vote, but if you are already registered to vote you're fine. Early voting starts on April 30, and election day is May 6.
I know that there are a lot of people from the surrounding cities in here too, so I recommend that you post any comments or information you have on who is running in your city below. I'm posting a little bit of info that I dug up on the mayoral election in Keller, where I live.
So, the ballot can be found here:

Did some small research into the mayoral candidates:
Pat McGrail - Former mayor, "special interests shouldn't run our city", "We need more than car washes and storage units".
Rick Barnes - Mayor Pro-Tem, "I would never label any of our citizens as special interest", "I voted AGAINST them(Two story storage units in the middle of town)"
Kris Jara - "Not a fan of being able to open my window and high five my neighbor", Squad Commander Biggles cosplayer(?!?!), Veteran.

I like this game, a lot. I like the combat, the equipment, and a lot of the little mysteries you can figure out playing. The crafting system is bullshit though, mostly because of the clunky UI along with level requirements to craft anything. If I want to make a decent piece of equipment, first I have to spend an hour making planks, leather, and ingots. And then the game freezes up, and I lose all of my work.
That's the biggest problem I have with the game. I can deal with the clunky UI, if my game doesn't freeze up. I can deal with the bullshit crafting system, if my game doesn't freeze up. I can keep a list of all of those crafting recipes, if my game doesn't keep freezing up.
Basically,
There are crystals on the maps that make a counter appear over your head. What you have to do is make it from one crystal to another before the counter disappears. When I did it, it made a treasure chest appear.
