Unwilling

a skeleton needs the muscles 
to move

to feel, the skin is required 
on muscle

you are rigid & unyielding with 
neither muscle nor skin, you 
do nothing
  but I don't expect it

  why can't I pin flesh to bone 
  and sew sinew to hide.
  why cant I make you
  something you wish not
  become

  why do you stand there 
  so perfect, so still
