He needs to elaborate, especially with the point about "Cooperation between numerous actors with diverging interests." It seems like the only interest is to make money as an investor or manager- he doesn't even give a hint as to what these "diverging interests" may be.

what about the manager, who reinvests your money into another manager, but then again that's not possible because everything is public so you will know exactly what percentage of return you'll get.

what I think is, eventually what he means is, investor asks to invest in crypto/stock, manager can utilitize both mechanism to facilitate his growth.

but either way, it's "all" public apparently.. so nothing shady about it so far.

edit: also, perhaps even another investor might want to match exact amount of investment with the initial investor. (similar or same type of stock/crypto), then diverging interest may fall into that category. (or multiple people)

another possibility is the manager might reinvest his own comission payout to get other actors to give professional advice in other strategies, to increase his profit.

these are the "good" points, but all this should be regulatory. (probably licensed, audited, etc).

there would be bad points but if the transparency is still there, then this project is 100% legit. (for now atleast, or up until alpha.).

I agree, I'd love to hear someones opinion who may be more versed in crypto and finance. This seems like an individual who only understands (maybe?) the finance side from a very elementary perspective.

The speed isn't even an issue. It's a plugin...and anything about ETH platform.. Well they've addressed in the WP

Commissions? There has been no mention of commission $ split. So saying that it's high is a baseless assumption. What has this guy been reading :s?

Just because he hasn't heard of T4B doesn't make them any less credible. It's classic for people to start mindless bashing at that point.

Seconded re: commissions. AFAIK, the whitepaper has said nothing about how commission structures will work, just that commissions for the managers will exist. So that part seems made up. Unless I'm missing something? I'm all for skepticism but that just seems unwarranted

Yup, no mention of it. Made up. That's why the post is not credible whatsoever. Bashing

exactly, unless the comission payout is extremely unrealisticially high then it's a huge red flag. but since the comission hasn't been issued yet, it's still a green flag for now.

plus they are licensed and public, so no reason to speculate any negativity so far.

The platform concerns seem a little overblown, since the only transactions occurring on the ETH blockchain will be the buying and selling of GVT and manager tokens. The funds' trading will take place on metatrader and in crypto/stock exchanges (eventually)

I told him to ask the devs on telegram. They are the only ones who know the answers for his questions. He's asking for really technical stuff. Same for regulation. He needs to ask them.

Speed is not an issue. Transactions are not recorded on the eth blockchain but on ipfs.

^^ and even if scalability was an issue, which I don’t see a problem for a plug-in they’d be able to switch blockchains
