Getting a used Huawei Watch 1 still a good idea? Or should I go with something like a Ticwatch E (or something else)

Hey guys, I was one of the earliest adopters of Android Wear when I bought a Moto 360 V1 on launch, but after a year the battery completely died and is nothing but a paperweight now. (Motorola refused to do anything to fix it unless I paid them nearly $100 if I remember correctly)

So now I want to get back into Android Wear, but I was pretty disappointed with the fact that it seems like the smartwatch world has barely improved since I bought mine over three years ago. Because of that, I'm not willing to spend $200 on another watch.

So this brings me to what I should buy. I was thinking about getting a used first gen Huawei Watch for around $80. I love the look and I think it's the best looking smartwatch that's ever been made, but I'm just worried about it being old. Is it done getting updates, or will it still be getting new versions of Android Wear?

My reasoning for wanting that watch is I love the look, and also it just seems like the newer watches has literally nothing else to offer other than the fact that they're newer. Am I missing something? If I want a Ticwatch E, it's gonna be $160 for watch that sure, is new, but it's made out of plastic and rubber and is thick as hell.

I'd the LG Watch Style. It's thin, looks like a nice watch, but $250 for a watch with fewer features than watches that came out three years ago? Oh come on, that is insane. Bring the price down a hundred bucks and then I'll be interested. I see I missed a decent sale a while back on one, pretty bummed about that.

So yeah, what do you guys think about getting an HW1 used for less than $100? Or is it just too old to buy one and not gonna be getting any more updates? If not the HW1, what's my best bet for something cheap? Ticwatch E? Do you guys know how I can get a LG Style for a better price?

Thanks everyone!
