How do I change the title. The title is, "Too long"

I love the nature imagery of this and the whole 'end of days' vibe you got going.
"The flowers bloomed
And the butterflies loomed" I think this sounds better without the second 'the' before butterfly.
"The birds sang
And the greens sprang" This would also sound better without the second 'the' before greens.
Also, I'm not entirely sure I get the poem. They lie? Is this a climate conspiracy poem? Sorry if I'm dense.

Good dreary-day poem, it's pessimistic but I like it. “It's been too long” is perfect for starting out, it shows how much you miss and reminisce about those things, and then the drastic change of “it won't be too long” with the sun fizzling out at the end is a morbid but true reality. It touches on a distinctly human note of fragile life is, and how ultimately nothing can/will last forever. I'm just getting into poetry so I don't really know too much about formats and what-not, so my editing knowledge/skills are not the greatest, but I really liked your poem if I can think of anything helpful here editing wise I'll def let you know :D

wow left me wanting more! very enjoyable I would recommend working on the last section of the poem you set up rhymes for the first half but then it starts to break up. if you can keep a few rhymes going through the last part (for instance tired and weary) then not having flame rhyme with anything will have a great significance. 

Thanks. Actually the title is supposed to be Too long, as in the pain has been there for too mind. But your comment makes me wonder how much of an effect does the title have on the reader.

It's a really good poem. Just paints an image in my head. I was just confused by the title. Was the lie supposed to be referencing when people say stuff like "It's all going to be A-Okay"?

Too long a story to explain, one presumes?

Who lies? the bot said my comment was too short. I felt this poem was well written and kept my interest even with music on. I thought it was about the end of the sun and therefore our solar system and earth. But is that the lie? One wonders..

I'm not sure why, but this made me feel sad. Especially at the end where it says about extinguishing all hope. The poem is good, but after reading it a few times, I feel like the poem could really speak to me.

It's been too long

Since the water rose

And the skies froze

The flowers bloomed

And the butterflies loomed



It's been too long

Since the sun smiled

And the clouds cried

The birds sang

And the greens sprang



It won't be too long

Soon

The sun

Tired and Weary

Will give in

To eternal slumber

Extinguishing all hope
