Can we please get old GIF player UI back?

I really really hate new GIF player. Controls are tiny, hard to hit and they disappear way too fast. Progress bar, again is too small to find and hit desired location before it too, disappears. To put this into perspective, my phone has 5" display.

Old controls were appropriately sized, and had just good enough time before disappearing. So can we please, please at least make current controls larger? And make them stay a bit longer.
