Not that bad
Note I know its edgy, but bear with me. Yes, I am depressed, and yes, I can be suicidal. However, processing my feelings with words helps me to realize how I'm really feeling. Paradoxically, writing about my depression helps me forget about it.
I’m struggling to find the words to express myself Wondering if I will ever receive the help That I so desperately need But can’t admit I want So I sit here as my heart bleeds With my stomach in a knot Silently suffering I’m addicted to the pain Constantly wondering why I’m this way Feeling guilty for always being sad They tell me that my life isn’t all that bad But they don’t know cold I feel When I am all alone Yet I continue to alienate I’m addicted to the pain I feel as though it’s fate That I will always be this sad With no hope of escape Missing what I never had Wondering when I’ll die while I lay awake at night. Contemplating suicide I don’t want to die But I really want to cry I don’t want to die But I can’t bear my life At least it’s not that bad...
