I would agree that it reads a bit choppy, and I highly recommend you rework the repetition so that the ending of your poem is more clear and resonant. You have a chance with the way you structured the poem (which is clever, by the way) so that each line reveals something new and leaves us with a precise insight at the end. I think if you were to rework it with this in mind, it would be a lot more powerful.

Hey! I gave this a few reads. I see others commenting it is choppy, which it is is, but I don't think that's a bad thing. One thing I might suggest is breaking up some of the sentences with commas rather than period. Did you mean for it to take on a choppy tone? What did you mean by the new root buds?

This is an interesting poem and leaves much for interpretation.  I like it a lot and feel that it could be improved with some changes to formatting and possibly in how it flows.  Perhaps something like this?

> Name me something not too easy

> Else my childhood is ruined.

> Name another without the clutches of my creator.

> Free from the ridicule in your name.

> Name carefully for words have meanings

> And words can end in shame.

I agree with the others that this sounds pretty choppy. I think that can be fixed super easily by replacing many periods with commas.

Besides that, really good poem! I'm really into that image of "a new root" budding. I don't know if this was intentional, but that image suggests an idea of growth. I think that works because an identity isn't something that just defines you the same way for eternity; it defines the way you grow and learn about the world.

Name me something.
Never make it too easy.
Else my childhood be ruined.

Name me another.
Without the clutches of my creators.
Without the ridicule that is in your name.

Name me carefully.
For a word can mean different.
I don’t want to be at the end of an embarrassment.
I don’t want to obliterate my friend over a witless word.

Name me myself. 
Ridicule has a part to play in every child. 
In every instance, a new root buds strongly inside 
and the child will not wither like before.
