Boo Boos

I stole my cousins rainbow colored one piece
when i was 10
it was too tight
and i wore it every single minute of the day under
my clothes because
it pushed my budding breasts down flat
Pancake style
i was terrified my dad would hate me if he saw me
becoming a girl
the hair that started showing up uninvited was
Quickly shaved away
and i proudly showed my flat chest
under stolen shirts
from my other cousin
the mere fact you wouldn't talk to me
about this
maybe reinforced the shame
so i laugh about boobies in my house
i show naked statues
everything is in the open
because i don't want shame to rule my home
my daughter has a mug
with big beautiful breasts on it
and she drinks out of it
before church in the morning
