What's up with Usain Bolt playing soccer all of a sudden?
Saw a clip of Usain Bolt scoring a goal in a training session for Dortmund, had to rub my eyes since I know him only as a sprinter.

If the most talented sprinter in history wants to play some soccer, I’m assuming almost every single club would allow it.

At least for training or a few charity games, why not? Good PR.
Would be more of a danger for Bolt that he could be hurt in a tackle. But on the other hand: He retired from his main sport, so I guess this isn't that big of a danger to/for him.

Surprised he wouldn't take on baseball or something. I feel like soccer is more of an endurance sport over a quick burst speed sport. But I don't much about Bolt at all.

Well Usain needs to be able to hit the ball if he were to try baseball. I doubt he has much experience with trying to hit a 90-100 mph ball.

I think he just loves football - he has been playing with the idea for a long time.
& You need to be fast in Football.

He retired from sprinting. He is training with Dortmund. I suspect this is some sort of PR stunt.
I remember him saying in an interview years back that he wanted to pursue football after his sprinting career

Herb Washington was a world-class sprinter signed by the A's in 1974 to be exclusively a pinch runner. He was inserted to pinch run as the potential tying run in the 9th inning of a World Series game. He was picked off.
