Oh it's 3 am and she's freaking out
She's feeling useless and completly numb
Her cold emotions leaving her full of doubt
Her heartbreak she has to overcome
Oh it's 3 am and he's lashing out
He's lonley and everything starts to blur
His anxiety makes him want to shout
His hearts screaming and bleeding without her
Being with her is a knife through the heart
Being with him is full of guilt and sorrow
Despite their feelings they can't be apart
Both waiting for a hopeful tomorrow
Tonight her heart's being worn on a noose
Tonight his heart's just begging for a truce
