When I was little

The biggest lie I was ever told 
was that all cows have spots
Ask me if I'd ever seen one
I would say I had not  

The worst lie I ever told
Was that I didn't care
When really I spent every day
Like I'd been double dog dared  

The lie that hurt the most
Is that I wouldn't mind growing up
To you my life was always a game
Never the goose, but the duck
