I never knew him but I hope that whatever he wanted to achieve happened, whether that be a void or some kind of afterlife. RIP

I spoke to him offline a few times, he was an incredibly gentle soul and suffered for years with deep depression. He was 35. I’m 38 so we had age in common and were both from the same part of the us originally. We were also wilderness lovers, and he was a gifted musician but had to give it up due to an injury. He didn’t say goodbye to me, which makes me sad— I knew (suspected) the end was nearing because he was reclusive and began to speak more about specific dates. He spoke to quite a few people offline from SS, was a true friend to many.
I sincerely hope he had a peaceful passing, he deserved it. He wanted to become a swirling whirling cloud.

Thank you smilla for this thoughtful commemoration of him during his final months here. He did indeed pass peacefully and with love. I believe his soul is indeed in a better place free of the mental torment he experienced while here.
