I would say it lacks poetry elements, but nevertheless it's deep and i felt it. Perhaps work on adding some imagery etc. something poetic apart from the rhetoric questions

This is a good start IMO. Really robust rhythm, which with a bit of work could be super fun to hear and read, and a strong central message (hella evocative title). What you could work on is adding more imagery to it, because it’s lacking in that RN— but it’s a strong concept,  so you shouldn’t struggle with that. I’m also not a big fan of the rhyme scheme, because i feel like it’s holding you back, but i’m a free verse heathen, so feel free to ignore that :)) overall, well done! 

She's a beaut Clark! Sorry I don't have any insight on critiquing and editing, just wanted to say I really liked it! Good use of rhyming. 

was it worth all the struggle to get where you are?  
when you try your best but don't get very far  
you tried to prove you could make it on your own  
do you see where that got you? sleepless and alone  
  
mustve been a great struggle, is that fair to say?  
do you feel better now than you did yesterday?  
did you come to terms with the fact that you're not  
destined to be anything but lost and forgot  
  
you always said you're alone, but now that its true  
do you think often of those who don't think about you?  
who don't care about you for all of your pleas  
what reason do they have, come on, let them be!
