When I read this poem, the first thing that came to my mind was 'raw'. Its very raw emotion, a mood which I believe perfectly fits the the message. The rhymes add to this, pairing lines that seem to go together in content and emotion.  

The main issue have is that some lines are awkward. The two main culprits are "what the shit" and "honey in their trees". The first one feels like an attempt to keep the speaker's profanity consistent, and the latter feels like a stretch for rhyme.  

Other than that, this poem was a great read. Thanks for posting!

the rhyme here, coupled with the obvious playing with cliches makes this have a weird sarcastic vibe i'm trying to get a handle on. regardless of that, the cursing here doesn't do anything for me. and 'honey in their trees' does feel really forced.
