Dissociation without trauma?

I've experienced three disassociative episodes in the past two months but I have no childhood trauma or family issues. The only change in my life that has happened is that I have gone to home schooling and my depression has come back among other disorders bubbling up. They're not triggered by anything in particular, like once I looked in the mirror and I didn't recognize myself so I had a panic attack and didn't feel connected to myself. In a movie theatre I dissociated for no reason. There was another time where I was writing an essay and I dissociated. I don't know the cause of it because I researched it and all it says is that trauma is involved.

It's possible to dissociate without a trauma, it actually happens to everybody at some point of their life. If you have dissociation like 24/7, then it's always because of trauma.

Have you been feeling more strong/extreme negative emotions than usually? Dissociation happens when your brain starts to block these emotions

I agree, this does seem possible.

It doesn't just occur due to trauma. It often occurs when tired, trying to concentrate, stressed, bored, worried, confused, etc. So varying degrees.
