Finished my first Simfile! How can I improve?

Gameplay

Hi everyone! Casual keyboard player here with 3-4 months under my belt. Tried my hand at my first Simfile using a song from a smartphone rhythm game I downloaded this week. Watch it here!

Focused a lot on varying patterns and trying to make interesting a relatively repetitive song (the full song contains two more minutes of the same thematic material). Relied a lot on jumps, so I'm thinking I'll try working on single-note patterns in my next one. Let me know what I can do to improve!

Really good for your first. Seem to have a good sense of rhythm and sound emphasis.

There are a few places I would have mapped differently, but the only real glaring issue I can see is, where you have 12ths at 0:24 (and other similar places), it should probably be a 4th, then a 16th, then an 8th instead, so like this (every line is a 16th):

0011
0000
0000
0110
0000
0000
0011
0000
1100

I might be wrong, but that's what it sounds like, and you can play the song back at a slower rate to verify it.

Slowing it down was actually amazing. I’m not convinced they weren’t intended to be quarter note triplets, but there are a few cases where they aren’t spaced properly.

If you don’t mind me asking, what were the places you would have mapped out differently?

You did a good job of making the file non-repetative.

What mobile rhythm game did you use to create this simfile?

May have misspoken there; I just took the song from the game haha. The game is “Bang Dream! Girls Band Party.”
