...a storm is coming
So, unlike my other poem, Ravage. I did actually feel this one. It's referring to a very particular situation I had, maybe ya'll can guess it.
The horseman, the horseman, hes coming for you.
Rest assured, that I am dead too
All will fall silent, as darkness takes day
Because I am running out of reasons to stay
she took it from me, one day at a time,
the poison she sowed, deep into my mind,
my friends, my health, its all gone, how?
the blindness, the curse, it's all too late now,
the storm, the winds, the walls are approaching,
Great feelings of dread, and worse more, are encroaching
A great war is set, to be waged in my head,
And rest assured, we will both soon be dead
I call to you now, this is your last hope
Run, run far, so that you may yet cope
But I know the truth, the storm is already nigh
Ignorant are we, yet trapped inside its eye
And with each passing day, it grows stronger still
Already, it is stronger, than my fading will,
Fight it, I can't, for you're my last love
Soon. they will let loose the doves
The horseman, the horseman, he's here don't you see?
He's taken up shop, full stop, inside of me
The horseman the horseman, he speaks with my breath
Yet his words guarantee nothing but death
