Pullable flab?

Hey r/loseit! I had some questions and observations I wanted to share to see if I can make sense out of what my body is doing.

So I've lost about 40ish lbs since January. I'm really proud of myself and soon I'm going to hit one of my first big goals (dropping below 200 lbs) so I'm not losing motivation or getting discouraged.

However, I've noticed that a lot of my flab is more...pullable. more separated from my body, I think. I can tug and squeeze more of it farther away from my body than I used to. For example, my arm flab hangs around my triceps more while the bicep area is much more toned from my exercising. I know it isn't loose skin because it's definitely got fat in there, but I'm worried that it might be a sign that I will eventually have loose skin. I'm only 20 so I was hoping I could avoid it, though I've been obese basically since I was 14 so I'm not sure if my skin is permanently stretched...

Anyway, I wanted to see if any of you had experience with fat that separates from the body as you lose weight. I think it may be a sign of visceral fat loss, or a result of muscle-building and toning exercises, but I'm just speculating.

It's lose skin. Keep going. It'll tighten up a good bit yet .

Its loose skin with fat inbetween, thats how it feels like, but dont worry it will tighten up over time. I got alot of it aswell.

This guy explains it rather well: https://youtu.be/aUsBDKMBBAg
