How can I tell if my device will work? [Updated]
For non-technical users :
The supported way to check for device compatibility is to use the Mint Mobile app iPhone Android, the device checker, and the FAQ; but those don't give give band level detail yet.
For technical users :
- Get the IMEI of your device, and lookup the IMEI Info
- Note the model (specific submodel), GSM, HSPDA and LTE bands
If your device isn't listed, then google for it to get band support, but you need the exact model - i.e. SM-G960F - not Samsung Galaxy S9.

FYI, Mint Mobile supports ALL of the above Bands right now. Some devices claim B12 compatibility but do not actually sign on correctly on the network, still finding out more info there.
