[SPOILER] About what the Monk said to David

Spoilerspoiler

While on the rooftop the Monk tells David that something bad has already happened. Maybe the Monk already knows about Amy somehow and that's what he is referring to. Maybe he already knows because he was tapped in to Fukyama and Fukyama already knows. Maybe Fukyama already knows because of some connection to Amy's "dream" or the house otherwise has some sort of surveillance or was checked on after the guards didn't report in. Although if Fukyama already knew, why would Clark, Ptonomy, and David have to question Lenny? Unless the point of that was to determine Lenny's motive and mental state more than how she got there. Also, how come we didn't see Fukyama at all in Chapter 13? Is he back to "normal" after the Monk unplugged? Maybe when the Monk was plugged in he could actively search for Amy and that's what her "dream" was. Because he was trying to learn about David or see what Farouk/Oliver were up to.

Farouk reemerging in general is a bad thing that already happened as well. It was a great thing for David to rid himself of the Shadow King, but the world overall is worse off at the moment. But I like this too, the monk could have a bigger role to play plotwise and I feel like he will.

Hope so. He was cool and yet he really didn't have much screen time.

Are things overall worse though? Seems like David is more powerful than Oliver so Shadow King has been downgraded if anything. Plus, now David and D3 know about him and can try to do something about him (as long as David is really going to stop helping him now). The way the Monk said it implied to me that it was something David didn't know about yet.

Or maybe it was just a cow's imagination because (i fear) people value spectacle over continuity.

I don't know what that means, but I liked that you wrote 'it was just a cow's imagination'...

For what other show would people write something like that?

I think the point is moo. It's a cow's opinion.

I meant it as a snide criticism, but I like you liking it more.
