There doesn't appear to be a secret handshake or anything when darkfriends are relaying orders to other darkfriends. What if Liandrin just decides on her own to go tell Barthanes to kill Moiraine? I suppose she runs the risk of being found out and punished, but is that all that's stopping them from tampering? Maybe she was supposed to give that order, but what if she adds "and now you have to pat your head and rub your belly at the same time, that's what our master said". How much could they get away with?

Back to Liandrin, it's not entirely spelled out who has all been told that Moiraine is stilled but Liandrin at a minimum knows she is imprisoned. Probably she knows about the stillin

Caught the Yellowstone marathon and added to library yesterday. Watched a few episodes of season 1 last night and could see the rest of them were available. Now season 1 is gone from my library and the earliest episode in season 2 is episode 6???

He is afraid of going mad and so doesn't want to be around those he loves. For all he knows he did the thing and world is safe now. So his plan is too...wander around like a hermit for the rest of his life? Return to Two Rivers by himself? The way he just walks off by himself makes no sense. Presumably Moiraine lead the way to the Eye of the World and at best Rand only remembers the way they came which will take him right back to the city where his friends and lover that he never wants to see again are.

Meanwhile he leaves Moiraine by herself in the blight. Which is just rude, although he seems to probably not know that she can't touch the One Power. Which begs the question why doe

Seeing Choi on the Rays still I decided to go and look at what he's done since the trade. His bWar and fWar are about equal so for 2018/19/20 he was worth 1.1/1.9/.3 fWar at $850K a year.

In equivalent playing time as a lefty hitting 1B Thames in 2018/19 had .9/1.9 fWar (.3/1.6 bWar) at $5.5 million per year avg. Then this year Smoak was a disaster with -.7 fWar at $5 million a year.

So theoretically if the Brewers had even just straight salary dumped Thames and gotten nothing of value in return (aka random minor league players that didn't pan out) and kept Choi they would've received slightly more production for something like 17% of the cost and Choi is still only 29 years old and arb

Any reason why the Mercenary Collection is cheaper than the Season Pass? I already have the base game but I should save $2 and get the Mercenary Collection right (don't have any of the DLC, been waiting)?

Throughout the series people have wondered if Stavos was "in on it", which was pretty much clarified when he got fired but even more so now after that conversation with Phillip. So now I'm thinking that they probably hired him specifically because he was an immigrant who would be more likely to keep his mouth shut if he did notice anything suspicious or if the authorities ever came knocking.

On a different train of thought there have been a number of comments that P should have killed Stavos, or still needs to, or definitely would have in previous seasons. That is also being compared to E sparing Jackson. But there's a major difference between the two because E could have easily killed J

While on the rooftop the Monk tells David that something bad has already happened. Maybe the Monk already knows about Amy somehow and that's what he is referring to. Maybe he already knows because he was tapped in to Fukyama and Fukyama already knows. Maybe Fukyama already knows because of some connection to Amy's "dream" or the house otherwise has some sort of surveillance or was checked on after the guards didn't report in. Although if Fukyama already knew, why would Clark, Ptonomy, and David have to question Lenny? Unless the point of that was to determine Lenny's motive and mental state more than how she got there. Also, how come we didn't see Fukyama at all in Chapter 13? Is he ba

This started as a response about Nina's dream, and turned into a caffeine fueled ramble. Considering the side bar calls us "Conspiracists" there's not nearly enough wild speculation (based on current episodes only, I try to avoid any known spoilers beyond that) in this sub.

The dream was Anton's funeral. Why else would Stan be there saying he's sorry and then directing her attention to a stoic Anton?

Anton came to appreciate her for who she was without it getting sexual. Plus, he reciprocated the risk she took when trying to get the letters out for him, by making a statement that seems to have painted her in a good light which was probably at least a little risky for him. So I'm not su

Just on Oleg actually, but wanted to keep the title generic. Oleg is totally screwed. The director tells Stan to keep working on Oleg, Stan says he needs Nina for leverage, but the director tells Stan he'll figure something else out. Well, what more does Stan need for leverage than proof and knowledge that Oleg helped him uncover a Russian spy! Stan risked his career with that move, but now that he's in the clear (somewhat, I guess we'll have to see how things play out with Gaad) he owns Oleg. Which is also bad news for Arkady since he didn't send Oleg home like his father wanted. At this point it looks like his father was right to be worried.
