Spring Nights Sky
Transient feelings like a bolt in the spring nights sky, Illuminating the darkest of time; only to be graduated to a blank, black canvas
/
True joy, and a companion; Simply a thing of the past
/
Pessimism, heartbreak; prevalent as the blank canvas I stare
/
Determining whether I prefer everlasting dark or the false hope of a lightning strike
/
Now in this crooked chair I reside, I gaze to the sky
/
Waiting for a a lightning bolt to rip through the canvas and last forever
This is one of the first poems I've written outside of high school assignments so I apologize if it's awful. I'm also having trouble with the formatting so forgive me for that haha
