Learning to sing

Learning to sing, what a wonderful thing.
Finding my voice, there's no other choice.
Practice makes perfect, it's certainly worth it.

Clenching my arse? What a farce.
But it actually works! And so I perked
up to the sky with my, slightly green, eyes

I belt out a ballad, thunderclap salad.
Feel the tension in my throat, I begin to dote.
Tension turns to pain, back to square one again.

Frustration and anger, with myself and the last stanza.
The isn't the end but it's neither the beginning.
Though i'm still learning, my patience is thinning.
