You don't need to pay excise as resettlement property is exempt. You need to have had the car for six months, not sell it for a year, and report it to customs within 14 days of your move.

I'm looking into moving from Spain to Warsaw at the end of the summer and am going to bringing my old bmw with me (It has sentimental value, it'll most likely be stored away). Its spanish registered at the moment. I looked into the cost but can't find a depreciation multiplier. Does anyone have any idea of my rough cost for the excise tax? Its a 2002 3000cc petrol, I think euro 3 classification for emissions.
