It's not quite how I expected.

I prepared for rain, snow, thunderstorms, even earthquakes

and I never got scared.

But I pictured them

with you.

Now I'm standing here

alone,

with an umbrella in one hand, and a lack of you in the other

It's not raining, snowing, thundering,

and the earth isn't quaking.

But I don't know what's going to happen.

And for the first time

I'm afraid.
