Clockwork

Will appreciate feedback

 

As a child I've always wondered

why the clock tells time in circles

all the while, the world tells

that time moves otherwise

linear.

But now in my deathbed

as I stare at the same clock

with toothless gums as before

and drooling mouth

the clock may be right;

I dive back into oblivion

into my helpless state

like how I was

being born.
