Solitude

I fail to realize how alone I truly am

Until I find myself in the middle of a crowd.

When I am in the depths of solitude

It envelops every part of my being as though it were a shroud.

Occasionally, my isolation brings me comfort and peace

While on the other hand

I long to be released.
