The Blue
You're in the blue
Because you belong in the blue
You're in the blue
Because you belong in the blue
You're in the blue
Because you belong in the blue
You're in the blue
Because you belong in the blue
You're in the glue
Because you belong in the glue
You're in the glue
Because you belong in the glue
You're in the glue
Because you belong in the glue
You're in the glue
Because you belong in the glue
So I feel as though I sort of owe an explanation for this. Not to get bogged down in details, as this poem stems from a hard time in my life that is still fairly recent, I was mistaken for a mentally ill patient at a hospital and was told I was awaiting transportation to take me hundreds of miles from home. Whenever I tried to plead my case I was told " You're in the blue, because you belong in the blue." The blue in this case refers to the blue paper clothes given to mentally insane patients. It was repeated to me for hours and was one of the things constantly buzzing through my mind.
Please don't talk about the incident I'm only seeking feedback on the poem itself. Thanks for understanding
