Rollercoaster

If life is a rollercoaster

With twists and turns and ups and downs

Shrieks of excitement, screams of terror

Crying children, laughing lovers

I'm looking up from the ground

Imagining the breeze in my hair

And the goosebumps on my neck

Yet walking towards the merry-go-round

Where its quiet and safe

And I won't get hurt
