hollow boned butterfly

crawl back into the belly of a bedroom dream

under the blue of mountain.

sailing soundless space,

i become the curl of his hair 

whispering softly beyond freckle kissed ears.

the first blush of daylight

feeds the shape of entangled lovers ,

screaming the fragility of 5 A.M

into the body of a sheetless mattress. 

deliriously amber eyed-

our hearts hum a nebulous glow 

savoring the honey of impermanence

held within basil stained fingers.

spiraling into the effervescence of

voice encapsulated in a bubble -

an echo of silence 

swallowed into the depths of a pink salt lake;

like a hollow boned butterfly
