that is a pretty cool announcement though, you gotta admit. I didn't get it on my phone, so glad you posted this. Thanks

Tacky, uncalled for, and a violation of at least Apple’s terms for a push notification.
Hopefully Wyze won’t be abusing the privilege of sending push notifications in the future.

Not sure why a push notification informing you of an exciting, new, free feature is tacky and uncalled for.

Because, in my opinion, it’s tantamount to an ad, which is why Apple prohibits App developers from doing it. It’s not what Wyze asked for permission to send push notifications for when I first installed the app, which I think makes it somewhat a breach of trust.
There’s other ways so send out the same information– there’s even a Messages section in the app already.
Imagine if every app you have sent out a push notification a week after rolling out every exciting new feature.

Saw that earlier as well. Hopefully Google will soon follow - or maybe a Roku or Android TV app. I'm not picky. :)

Seems to be about the weather.

Just got same notification right now. Pretty damn annoying if you ask me. An email would have been nicer.
