Thank you. Honestly the capitalization of certain words is a habit more or less...if it's a word I find ingetrel to the point or if used in a double entendre I tend to capitalize it because I feel like it sticks out to the reader more.

I really like the line “because every faith has been conceived from Within”

I am left wondering, however, what is the reason, if any, behind the capitalization of the particular words in the poem?

Yeah I'm actually a church goer who thinks more or less that everything is God so people need to just chill out on the whole I've got all the answers thing. But whatever floats ones boat I guess :)

Thank you soo much for taking the time out to critique this, it's been a while since I wrote, trying to get back into the gist of things.
Yes the capitalization of those words were intentional to convey the double entendre or just to emphasize the word itself, kind of a habit I made.
The connection in the line 3 of 4 you pretty much got, the whole pursuit of trying to be "Perfect" catholic or Jew or Muslim in itself begets sin, especially Pride.
Also I love God but I do have see a boatload of hipocracy in organized religion which is the main theme of this and the inspiration for the title.
Your analysis is amazing and spot on, I hope to read some of your works on this as well :) Thank you again

>There's no way any of us are getting into Heaven

Ouch. No loving God here!

>It's only fact we all Possess at least 1 of the 7

Why do you capitalize"Possess"?

>Whether it be Lust, Pride, Envy or Greed

>We are only programmed to serve our Creed

Nice rhyme but I'm not entirely clear on how it connects with the previous line. In and of itself I think it means everybody has beliefs that they cling to fervently. Is that correct? If so I'm not sure how it connects with the seven deadlies.

>And it is impossible for one to be absent of Sin

>Because every Faith has been conceived from Within

Again nice rhymes. Are you saying that every faith is subject to the dark side of human nature because it's all human made as in not divinely inspired?

>So before you Preach, make sure first that the Practice is Just

>Otherwise Plague all your Apostles to an Afterlife of Dust.
Nice rhymes. Clear message. Why the capitalization of "Preach" "Practice" "Just" "Plague" "Afterlife" "Dust"?

There's no way any of us are getting into Heaven

It's only fact we all Possess at least 1 of the 7

Whether it be Lust, Pride, Envy or Greed

We are only programmed to serve our Creed

And it is impossible for one to be absent of Sin

Because every Faith has been conceived from Within

So before you Preach, make sure first that the Practice is Just

Otherwise Plague all your Apostles to an Afterlife of Dust.
